Service Charges

Service Charge — Our service fee is based on an hourly rate. The typical labor charge for service of a VHF/UHF hand-held or VHF/UHF mobile transceiver is $42.00 to $63.00. The typical labor rate for an HF transceiver is $84.00 to $105.00.

ICOM® products serviced in warranty will be repaired at no charge to the owner and returned with shipping prepaid as subject to the terms of the ICOM® warranty.

Estimate Charge — To obtain an estimated repair cost for service, your equipment must be sent to our service center. The charge for a written repair estimate is $30.00 plus return shipping. The estimate charge will be waived if you decide to have your equipment repaired. If you decide not to have your equipment repaired the total charge for the estimate is $30.00 plus return shipping.

Payment Method — Visa, Master Card, Check, Money Order, Cash or UPS COD. If paying by Check, Money Order or Cash do not send payment with the equipment unless requested. Payment must be made after the equipment is serviced. We will notify you by e-mail or telephone and state the amount due.

For Visa and Master Card please supply your 16 digit credit card number, expiration date and 3 digit bank code on the back of the card. The merchant name that appears on your credit card statement will be SAR Technical Services, Inc.
